About
About Northwood Roast
A small-batch coffee roastery in the Northwoods — and this site, the guided tour of everything we roast, stock and ship out the door.

What this site does
Northwood Roast is a small-batch coffee roastery in the Northwoods, and this site is the guide to what we roast and stock. It walks you through the shelf: the house Roastmaster's Blend, the bold Seattle Blend, seasonal bags like Graham Cracker, Chocolate Macadamia Nut and Jingle Bell Java, decaf from Good Brothers, and the mugs, brewers and bulk bags that go with them. Every roast card tells you the roast level, the tasting notes and the size, then sends you to that product's own page on our storefront so you can order it in two clicks. The catalog, payments and shipping live on the store; the storytelling lives here.
Who it's for
It's written for people who drink coffee every day and want the next bag to be a good decision. If you want a dependable house cup, something flavored for the weekend, a decaf that still tastes like coffee, or a gift for someone who lives for slow mornings, start with the flavor finder and take the route that matches your morning. If you already know what you like, the roast list goes straight there. Nothing here assumes you own a scale, a gooseneck kettle or a chemistry set — we tell you what each coffee tastes like and what it works well in, and the brew guide covers the rest.
Who builds it
Northwood Roast is run by a small team in the Northwoods. We roast in small batches, pack orders by hand, and write the tasting notes you read on every bag. This site is ours too: the copy, the photography and the roast pages come from the same people who answer questions about your order. There is no marketplace in the middle — when you buy, you buy from us, and when you ask something, you ask us.
